Everyone enjoys a good book, and if you have time over the holidays to read, then watch this video for some recommendations from our authors.

Write Volumes One Question author panel discussion video series is exploring the question:

Who is one of your favorite writers or books in your identified community and why?

4 authors + 1 question = watch the video below to discover

 Panelists:

Karen Brailsford is the author of Sacred Landscapes of the Soul: Aligning with the Divine Wherever You Are (Wyatt-MacKenzie | Sept 2020). A native New Yorker and Yale graduate, she is a licensed spiritual therapist with the Agape International Spiritual Center in Los Angeles. Author of “Shades of Love” in SoH&S (Shades of Horror and Strangeness); “Mommy, Still” & “Harriet and Me” in SoT&T (Shades of Transition and Transformation).

Randall Jon Van Vynckt specializes mostly in being unpublished, so he's delighted to have his fiction find a home in Write Volumes' e-books (“Slow Dance” in SoH&S, “14 days” & “Valentine's Day” in SoT&T). He is a dozen years into the proverbial Great American Novel. In a past life, he published essays about historic places and wrote erotic fan fiction.

Jhoselin Dominguez (Jojo) is a graphic design graduate from Fort Hays State University, part-time writer, and full-time artist. Her fictional short stories explore existential topics and characters that wander her mind. Author of “Seen” in SoH&S; “Yellow Light” & “Knowing” in SoT&T. Write Volumes latest anthology: Shades of Transition and Transformation

It is happening all around you.  It’s happening to you.  Do you even notice?

Transitions and transformations are a part of life.  From childhood to adulthood, from day to seasons, from the new to experienced, transitions can be subtle or life altering.  Yet they are constant if we look.

The stories in this anthology are a celebration of transitions and transformations.  The situation or lesson which inspires, forces, conspires, or demands.  Basically, anything which inflicts or releases movement from within.  The causes may be universal, while the effects are personal.  These stories show the harbingers and potential aftermaths of these adventures in the various ways they color our perceptions… in their many shades.
 What comes next?
You won’t know any of the shades until you transition to the book…
So take a leap on this day to Write Volumes Shades of Transition and Transformation.
